In Week 6… we talk about lessons that we can learn from Jesus… most importantly what it takes to be OK with ourselves as well as Him.
“Home” is a word that carries strong emotional resonances. For some “Home” brings feelings of positivity and happy memories. It is a place of refuge. For others “Home” is a reminder of unpleasant memories or a place of uneasiness. And still for others “Home” is just the ordinary place of day to day life. In the Gospel of Mark we learn that the “Home” is a place Jesus often withdrew… unsuccessfully. The “Home” is also where Jesus does some of His most important miracles and most advanced teaching. The “Home” is also an image Jesus uses within some of His teaching. Whatever kind of emotional resonance you have to the “Home”… for now… we are all… “Sheltered at Home”
