Is Jesus your boss or your savior? Or maybe neither…

I’m gonna be honest… in our culture it’s super easy to just view Jesus as our boss who tells us things to do or not do in order for us to: a) Live a good life… and b) Be cool with Him.

You see… our savior is anything that we look to in order to make us presentable to the world around us. It is what we consider to “save us” and give us worth, value, importance, and make us lovable to others. And unfortunately, for many of us we would look to success in our endeavors, our possessions or resources, our opportunities, and our bank statements to give us worth and value.
